The steps leading to Mass Formation Psychosis:
A Society:
– Becomes decoupled from each other
– Has free floating anxiety
– Has a sense that things don’t make sense
– Then attention is focused (implied – by someone with power to command the attention of the entire society) on one small thing – just like hypnosis.
At that point the people can literally become hypnotized and can be led anywhere.
